Why Breakfast Is So Important
05/14/2018
Breakfast is that all-important first meal that helps you get through a busy day at work or school. It helps my providing a healthy boost to physical or mental performance, as well as helping to ensure that the other meals we eat are balanced; which is great for overall well-being.
A healthy breakfast gives you the energy you need after a good night’s rest and allows our body and brain to start at their best thanks to the different nutrients. As we first, our body Burns through sugar reserves in the liver. If we don’t reserve step if we don’t refresh our sugar reserves with a good breakfast, nobody will compensate by burning muscle protein and – albeit at a lower amount – fat reserves for energy. If we go too long without eating, then we tend to eat larger lunches and dinners which leads to lots of energy being stored as fat. A good breakfast helps us to feel satiated throughout the day, encouraging us to eat regular sized meals. It’s been shown that people who don’t have breakfast can have trouble managing their weight. They are more likely to have poor eating habits which may lead to serious health problems. A study from Harvard to Medical School shows people who eat their breakfast are half as likely to become obese as the people that skip it.
