Dulche de Leche Donuts

This is the easiest, fastest and yummiest donut recipe that you will find! I adore to fill my donuts with a generous amount of dulce de leche but you can use other things like chocolate ganache, whipped cream or even your favorite jam flavor!
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 5 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 tbsp of butter, room temperature
- 2 tbsp of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
More ingredients that you’ll need:
- 1 cup of Dulce de Leche
- ½ cup of sugar
- Oil to fry
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, cream together the sugar, salt and butter. Make sure to get a creamy and even texture.
- Add the eggs, half of the flour, ground cinnamon, baking powder and milk. Stir really well to avoid lumps in the batter.
- Add the second half of the flour. You will get a soft dough.
- Sprinkle some flour on a flat surface and start to roll the dough until it is about ½ inch thick.
- Use any donut cutter, cookie cutter or anything else round that is in your kitchen and cut some donuts!
- In a large pot, add the oil and when hot start to fry the donuts. Don’t fry too many at the same just two or three to maintain the oil temperature.
- When golden, dip them into the sugar while still warm and set aside to cool down.
- Take a serrated knife and half way of the donut.
- Fill the donut with dulce de leche and serve to enjoy!
