Healthy Spring Foods And How To Use Them

Another season of freshness is here. It's springtime; there are wide ranges of veggies and food to try out this season. This does not in any way affect or eliminate your usual diet; just eat the fruit, the food, and veggies you find in your local market.
To get a feel of this season, you can eat some healthy spring foods and how to use them.
Arugula
How to use it: Chop them into bite-size pieces and use them uncooked in salads with other veggies or alone.
Artichokes
How to use it: boil for about 20 minutes, then peel off and eat the leaves with a dip, either mayonnaise or melted butter.
Asparagus
How to use it: asparagus can be lightly steamed and sautéed with garlic and sea salt in some butter any oil of your choice.
Beets
How to use it: it can be juiced or added to a smoothie. Beets can serve as a side dish when roasted.
Carrots
How to use it: Carrots can be eaten raw, chopped into salads or sandwiches. You can as well juice them.
Mint
How to use it: Mint is a natural herb, its works very well when uncooked. It can be chopped into fruit salads or added to water or iced tea.
Peas
How to use it: Peas can be added to salads, smoothies, noodle dishes, and basically anything.
Strawberries
How to eat them: it can be eaten raw, added to a smoothie. You can also be eating alongside your oatmeal or chia pudding.
